The story of Tingxu Creation began with Zhao Yonghong, the founding generation, and his dedication to traditional craftsmanship. Since its establishment, it has been rooted in the original aspiration of 'keeping age-old craftsmanship alive in the present era'. It has built a creation workshop, taking six manual techniques—including carving, pyrography, and sewing & finishing—as its foundation. Through consistent refinement day after day, it has cultivated the essence of 'exquisite work comes from unhurried effort'.

The inheritance of the craft by the second generation is a continuation of these techniques. Zhao Yonghong was well aware that the inheritance by the new generation is crucial for the continuity of culture. Therefore, he joined hands with his son. While preserving the core techniques, they delved into the integration of intangible cultural heritage (ICH) materials such as Xiangyun gauze, Yun brocade, and cloisonné enamel. This allows ancient fabrics to be reimagined through modern design, reshaping the 'language' of ICH fabrics and finding a new soil for survival in contemporary life, thus integrating ICH into daily life.

In the workshop, the carving knives in the craftsmen's hands meet the enamel of cloisonné, and the grain of old wood collides with the luster of Xiangyun gauze. Every piece of work is a dialogue between the six traditional techniques and ICH.

From the founding generation's focus on refining techniques to the two generations' exploration of cultural integration, the products of Tingxu Creation have never been simple reproductions. They embody the warmth of carving knives and the timelessness of fabrics. More importantly, they prove through craftsmanship: true dedication to craftsmanship not only preserves the roots of tradition but also blooms with the vitality of the times.
